Wow Rev, That looks pretty sweet.
I was the 1st in my club to get one of the Great Planes Pitts ARF's. Now that there's 4 of 'em, it may be time for a change!
Keep us posted on the build. Good Luck.

For those interested; the dry weight came to 9 1/2 pounds. The 1.40 Super Tigre will be more than blazing, and the balance with battery and RX ahead of servo tray is nearly dead-on. I did substitute a 20 oz fuel tank to accomodate the ST 2300 engine. There is plenty of room in cowl for the Mvvs 1.60 gasser if you desire. I will purchase another for this gasser when local shop brings them in. P.S. I also substituted a 4-40 pull system for the stock pull-system, as it did look a bit lite and I had the 4-40 in the shop.
Plane should fly superbly. I would avoid damage to fuse as repairs would call for fiber-glass, very lite glass at that.

RevGO,
I hadn't seen this plane before. It's the right size, but appears to light and perhaps weak for a 50cc engine and smoke sytem. I say that size because thats what I got.
What are your thoughts. Also is this plane strong enough to take any kind of wild 3D you want to throw at her. How is whe inverted, knifeedge, etc.
PS: this plane has a fiberglass fuselage? Ouch!

Hi RevGo,
How is the Pitts flying with the Super Tiger G 2300 ?
I have a Super Tiger in a box waiting for a home. I also have a Saito 180 but the Super Tiger maybe a better choice for this plane.
Thanks
