Hangar-9 f6f hellcat
Could'nt resist it, just had to take it home. LHS owner says it was a Pre-release from a handful sent out to selected stores from H-9. Not bad at all, 'cept for the usual H-9 firewall problem. Very bad hit-and-miss with the ''hot glue ''on it. I can remedy that with short dowels and fiberglass resin. Looks pretty sturdy in the retract area, not bad at all. Wrong color on top of the horizontal stab though, that can be re-covered to the correct color. It's a -3 Hellcat type, We'll put a Saito .100 in it. Also a scale tailwheel, maybe Robart struts and painted brass tubes for the gun barrels. Might even go so far as to install a belly tank too. We'll stay in touch, MM

Add some pictures from your kit, and that will spice it up a a bit. Not many of us have one yet, so there's not much for us to say.
