Holy Cow! I just received the new Fiberclassics Skydancer for aerial ballet. They used the same building techniques as their TOC planes. First class quality and light!!!!

Check out the link to the web site!

www.fiberclassics.de/usa/fc_pro_skydancer.htm

Planes Plus will have them in stock this week and they will sell for $299 and that my friends is a steal. I am building mine now and will report as I go.

Wingbags.com is making the bags for the plug-in wings as I write this. I promise you will be blown away!!!!!!!!!

Looks cool, is there an english version of that web-site anywhere? I ran it through Google's translator and the output was even less understandable than the original!

Just a warning, there was a thread in the 3D forum a while back, and it said that they were a disaster. Tell us how yours turns out to see if the problems are ironed out.

I am putting a Y.S. 91 on the front of mine. I am using Futaba digital servos.

Span is 49.2 inches. Weight is (up to) 5.7 pounds. Recommended engine is a 46. These are the numbers from the site.

I love the idea of an all composite ARF! Hopefully we will see more of this type of construction. Though I can't see an OS46 being enough on any 5lb plane. A 46 will hover up to 5.25 lbs or so but with zero margin of safety for pullout.

Something like a Saito 72 or YS 63 would be more suited, or maybe the OS 50 or Rossi 53 for the two strokes.

Default Hey Kitman

What's up Kitman? How's it hanging? I will have to say that it is one beautiful arf also. I saw over at Kitman's the other day. Matt, I need to get in touch with you about wingbags for my new 33% Staudacher.

Thanks

I agree a real hot 50 to 53 or a 60 to 70 4 stroke. It's a bit heavy, but it looks good. Has anyone gotten a wing area?
