Slow Poke Sport 40 went to airplane Heaven today-Need a replacement
Had the rare "pleasure" of having a fellow flyer turn on his radio (same channel) and bury my Slow Poke today. It was powered by an OS .48 4S and then a TT .54 4S later on. Chewbakka (sp?), the pilot, survived and went to the bar as usual. Am looking for a replacement ARF or a similar flying plane as I really enjoyed that plane and it's characteristics. Thinking about a Seagull Spacewalker II also. Any other suggestions along the lines of these planes are welcome. For those who have owned and flown this docile little trooper - a simple farewell salute will do..........

Yes, the plane was the ARF version.
Thanks for the tip on the flea markets, planned on that. Anyone know of some alternative planes that have similar flight characteristics?

Thanks, but I have a Twist and a Decathlon for that kind of flying. Looking for that "lawnchair" style of flying with a plane that can really slow down and do a fly-by at just above idle. The Slow Poke has about 1,050 Sq. In. of wing to do this. Also have a H9 Cub but the Slow Poke was the Cub equal in a low wing config. without the poor ground handling! And besides, Chewy needs another plane to fly.

Get a Sig Senior ARF or Sig Rascal. Hey i just bought the slowpoke and i would like to buy off you whats left of yours. Including the pushrods, tank, wheels, and any other hardware. I would love to buy these off you. Also if any of the plane is left ill buy that to.
