Default Super Tigre for the twist??

Hey guys,

I am planning on setting up a Twist 3D with a Super Tigre engine in it. Any of you guys have experience with these engines?
Two of the guys from the club run Super Tigre in their Twist, and really like the engine, but I sure would appreciate you guys's input

Also, what size would you prefer/recommend?? 40-size or the .61 size??

Thanks in advance guys.

I have a 60 and a couple 90.s .
One 90 is the old sk, and the newer is the g90
same motor.
The carbs can be a pain....just like any other, but I love em, and will keep buyin them when they are on sale or a deal comes up.
I dont know anything about the twist so Ill leave it at that.
Good luck!

Default RE: Super Tigre for the twist??

A friend of mine runs a Super Tigre 45 on his Twist. I run a 52 Magnum on my twist. Both planes use a 12.25x3.75 prop. Mines quite a bit faster and will hover easyer. We're at 6780 feet altitude so it's hard to get anything to hover. It's up to you but I'd go with the Magnum. Some people have had bad luck with Magnums but that's all I run and they run great. I think they may be using low castor fuel. I recently crashed the Twist in an oops and the engine is on an Ultimate Bipe now.
