Lazy Tiger P51_LA 40 or GP 42.
I need a motor for this plane and on tower these are the same price. I have ran 2 LA 40's 1 of them new. I have never run a TT. Which should i get.

The TT 42GP is similar to the old OS 40FP in weight, power, reliability and consistancy. Anyone who has run both the 40 FP and the 40 LA will tell you that the FP was a MUCH better engine. I have a twin with two 40FPs in it and they run perfectly. I have another twin with two 40LAs in it and there is no way to make them run in sync for more than 10 seconds at a time. I am seriously thinking of replacing the 40LAs with 42GPs. I guess my opinion is fairly clear.
