Recently lost my P-40 due to engine dying from about 50 ft up. I had a gms .76 engine with a pitts muffler on it....any better engine recommendations/muffler combination? The GMS had good power when running correctly, but very unreliable....

Well my recommendation is any other brand than GMS or Magnum or MDS. Get a ST G90 and put that in it.

I flew mine with a Saito 100 and flex exhaust and it was my favorite warbird! Good power, but quiet enough to be hardly noticed in the air!
