I went ahead and broke down and bought one of those aftermarket muff's with the 90 degree elbow for mine, but I've also seen one that had the firewall customized to accommodate the muffler for an inverted Saito. It looked good. You can get an exhaust fitting that will allow you to use a flex line as well if you want to run without a muffler.

I didn't epoxy my wing tube into the wing and I can't imagine why anyone would want to.

By the way, after reading about all of the crashes on this thread, I think you guys psyched me out or something. My very next flight with my Decathlon, I ended up botching a simple dead stick and hitting a tree. It hit the small limbs of the tree about eight feet high and fell to the ground. I thought it was going to be busted up pretty bad but it ended up just getting a little damage to the leading edge of one wing half and a little to the wingtip of the other half. Broke the prop and just a few small holes in the Ultacote on the fuse. I got very lucky. Very embarrassing though. I should be back in the air this weekend.

GREAT PICTURE!!!!!!!!! I hope to see mine on final this weekend. I picked up an aftermarket elbow and muffler. Does the wing strut assembly bother anyone??? I ordered some GP wing strut mounts for mine. Haven't gotten 'em in yet. I just done like the stock mounting "system".
