I want to get a gas engine for the New Giant Aeromaster ARF.
This will be my first gas engine.
Can someone recommend an engine that would be a good match for this ARF.

I have a Giant Aeromaster that I have been flying for years with a "Quadra," 42. It fly's OK, (no reserve power) and I would definitely like to have more power. Mine was built from a "Ki,t" and is pretty heavy. About 21 lb. If you have one of the new ARF'S, I'm sure it's much lighter. I think an engine in the caliber of 50cc would serve you well. Maybe even a Zenoah, G62. Good luck with your Aeromaster.........You'll love it. Bob

Thank you Bob
There are so many gas engines in the 50 cc range that it is hard to choose.
I was thinking DA50 or Fuji BT50.
I would like an engine with electronic ignition.

My G-62 is off at RCIgnition right now getting 'lited' which includes electronic ignition. When it comes back, it will get fitted to a Giant Aeromaster (winter building project).

Adanac18........OK! here's my recommendation for your power plant. Zenoah, G62 lite by Ralph Cunningham at rcignitions.com He will build you an engine that is as good as any engine sold on the market today. It comes with a custom motor (engine) mount, CH electronic ignition, which is enclosed in the engine mount, and has a lifetime guarantee. Mine only weighs 4.1 lb. This will be a perfect match for the Aeromaster, and the Zenoah engine has a sterling reputation. Bob

I have a Giant Aeromaster with a G-62 & CH Ignition installed. All I can say is simply awesome! It will fly wild n wooly, and it will also fly like a big trainer. The G-62 hauls it with "CLASS!"
