Supertigre 90 too much engine?
Hi i am currently building a esm models Katana 40 but have found a s 46ax doesnt balance this plane, really tail heavy, needed about 100grams of lead in the front to balance out, so what i decided to do is get a heavier engine, such as a 60 size, but seeings the 90 size is just about the same weight, i can just use throttle management, but what i am asking first is, will this engine be too much either power wise or weight wise, any replies would be appreciated,
Thanks.
Thanks.

Juat make sure you get back to us after your maiden and give us a flight report. Be carefull at T/O so that you little Katana does not torque role into the ground, only max power when you have some speed, and never go full throttle when close to stall speed. Use a 3-blade prop to get amble ground clearance and to not underload you engine. Make the firewall stronger. It will be a rocket and you are likely to enjoy that.

yeh i was mainly trying to get this model set-up to start begining 3d, of course i wont be going flat out with it, i'd use it as i d with my classic trainer with an os 46 ax on it, only travel at little under half throttle, and only go over half for vertical.
