RE: Tower's Dazzler or 40 Uproar
Hi............Both are good planes, but if you go with the Dazzler (ARF) make sure you beef up the fuse in the area of the landing gear. (front of wing. They are noted for snapping the fuse in half in that area if you land hard! (just don't land hard!
I have the ARF Uproar with a OS 46 AX running a APC 12.25-3.75 prop. I cut 1/2 inch off both ends, rounded the ends & rebalanced it. Three inch foam wheels on the gear, & also beefed up the weak area same as the Dazzler & several other areas. This plane hauls AS*! It comes in as slow as most trainers if not slower. This plane in fun. Again.............just be sure to re-inforce some of the weaker areas.
Have fun.................

I am using a Magnum .52 on the uproar and the Dazzler. Great with skis and hoping great with floats. That motor flys it ballistic. A 61 would fit but may make it a bit nose heavy. Post pics and results

I say get the Uproar... I did. The Dazzler is the same plane except it comes out heavier because of the built up, rounded, turtle deck.
