hey guys i was wondering if anyone could recomend an ARF that is under $150. This will be my first build so i would prefer the plane to be relativly easy to assemble. Also could anyone tell me if the P-51 Ep from all world models is any good. thanks

my problem is that i don't have any expieriance with 4 channel planes yet and as long as it is pretty easy to fly. i have pretty much mastered 3 ch elevon planes though so the transition should be smooth though.

Well you still might want to go to Horizion Hobby and read about the plane. In full training mode the plane is very easy to fly and as you progress you can take the training gear off and have a fighter.
I've assembled and flown a couple and even used it as a beginners plane. It is a very interesting concept.

i was looking for electric. But, i have found the plane i am going to build. I have choosen the Model Aero AeroCat. it is relativly cheap at $49.95 and is will be perfect for me because it just lands on its belly. It should be pretty easy to repair with some CA and Carbon fiber for added strength. thanks for recomending the other planes though. now i must go to the aserocat forum to find out a good motor.

Hi Deb,
Don't worry about the 4th channel most of us use 2 on the ground and the other 2 in the air.
Having a 6 or more channel radio allows you to expand as your abilities get better.
I don't do ARF's much but do have one coming from polkhobby.com a DR 1
You can have a lot of fun with the WWI biplanes the aileron roll rate is nice and slow and they try really hard not to nose over in grass.
