Default hangar nine taylorcraft with g23?

Was wondering if anybody installed a g23 in the Taylorcraft? What position did you mount the engine? Place any servos in tail? How did the CG work out? Flight performance? Special considerations or problems?

Default Engine?

A G-23 would be a great choise for this plane.I would recomend using a Slimline Pitts muffler on it, you'll get a little more power out of the engine and it's a nice clean installation.
I've had two of these combo's, one in a H9 PT-19 and one in a H9 Cap (too heavy for the Cap)
I would think if you were going to do aerobatics with this plane you may consider a G-38?

New Friend I have a G/23 in my Han 9 T/craft.I aso instaled one more ELV servoe. Also has a bisson inverted muffler.I am useing a APC 17/10 prop. It flies very scale. It took 16 o/z weight to make the cg.For aerobatics it could use more power.

I like the gas idea, but G-23's are not known for there power. I think you wold be better off with one of the newer hi-po small gassers like the RCS-180 or the MVVS-160. Hey Jerry where did you hang the weight? If it's on the nose a little firewall work and a Brison 2.4 may be the hot set-up.
