Default DP extra Fuel Run time

Guys,

For those of you who have put a Moki 1.8 or 2.1 on the DP Extra, what size fuel tank do you use and how much flight time do you get on it ? I have heard that a Moki is the way to go with this plane over gas but the flight time issue is a big one for me since I had a Saito 180 on a h9 edge and 24 oz of fuel would give me only 8 mins.

Let me know, thanks.

I have a 1.8 Moki on my plane and a 24 ounce tank. I usually fly around 10-12 minutes and have never landed with less than 1/3 tank. Throttle management will go a long way with these bigger engines. I'm not saying don't hover the plane, because my flights are filled with high-power maneuvers, but there is no reason to be burning lots of gas when in level flight or descending.
