Default Heckler 3D plane

Just wandering if any of you guys have heard of the Heckler 3D plane by Wing Tote. Looks like a nice kit and looks like it should do some awesome 3D. Opinions and experience welcome.

Last I heard this was a one run ARF. I got one in 2005 and now have it with a YS 63 on the nose.
It's pretty wild and the YS with a 13 X 4 prop is awesome.

Does it hover stable and w/ enough power to pull out like a rocket?
I'm thinking a O.S. 70 for mine.
How about harriers, elevators, flat spins, blenders, ect.?
What's the weight of yours w/ the YS 63?
How did the CG come out w/ your sit up?
Does it fly slow or fast, or both?
Does it land fast or slow?
Looking to fly in a small area like a baseball field. Is this possible w/ this bird?

Sorry for all the questions... just looking forward to flying.

Thanks

A 70? I thought a 32 would be great..... but a 70 would probably be fine if you consider it a 46 size plane.

What does it say about the all up weight of the plane? My Uproar is about 4.5? lb. and the OS 32 is awsome on it with an 11x3 APC prop. The only thing I did to keep the weight down a bit was to use a AAA 720 battery back.

The box says all up weight should be 4.5- 5 lbs. I'm planning on using a 600 mah ni-cd with mine to try to keep weight down too.

Sure you don't mean a 600mah Nimh battery? They are smaller and lighter than nicads nowadays.

It's the battery that comes w/ the Futaba radio systems. Probably will have to mount it in the tail to get CG right. If it looks like the CG is close, I might get a Nimh.

If you are serious about saving weight on a plane like that, get a AAA (not AA) 720 or so Nimh battery. It's modern technology!

1. Great airplane. I also have one in the box as a reserve.

2. There is a Heckler thread running at present in the 3D Forum.

3. It is no longer being produced.

4. ATS Super Kraft has what looks to be a clone called the Phoenix in 40-60 size and the Dragon in 70-100 size.

Ended up having to put a square ni-cd pack all the way back in the tail and the CG is perfect to just a little tail down. Tried it today and all I can say is AWESOME!!!! More details in the 3D Flying forum.

Ed, Interested in selling your extra Heckler kit? My brother wants one too!!!

Check the Phoenix. I swear it is a clone of the Heckler after Heckler production was stopped.

Noticed in a earlier forum that the tank had given some problems. Any idea what size the original tank is (ounces) and what new tank is the best fit? (Sullivan or Dubro)
Changed the wing bolt to 1/4-20 size and I'm still working on the best CofG. (Just about directly under the wing tube now) Got to try it. Was flying as recommended... (4" from leading edge) was way too nose heavy.
Thanks
