Im currently building a Creek Edge 540 and am going to put smoke in it. Since i need nose weight can i mount the smoke pump directly to the firewall? Will this cause any problems?

I don't know if that's a good idea - they are very sensitive to vibration. I usually mount mine on rubber grommets on the CG.

Ditto to wombat's technique/comment.

Direct wirewall placement may be hazzardous to the pump's and pump performance's health.
