Have you guys seen the new Victa Airtourer?
This is a very nice looking civilian airplane. And look how big it is, to fly on a 91FS.

Kmot, That does look like a very nice ARF. If it's anything like SA's Corby Starlet, It's great. Don't get too concerned if you don't get hardly any responses. For some reason, these types of ARF's are just not interesting to the vast majority. I cannot figure out why. The Starlet came and went with no notice. I just love mine [ especially on floats ] and fly it sparingly to try to make it last longer. I swore up and down I will not buy any more planes....but.... This one look's very nice as a scale flyer. Saito .100 should do it. Buy one and stay in touch, I can't get one right now. Seeya, MM

Kmot, you will really like the quality of the Starlet. It's not a beginners plane and you need to stay alert when on final approach. Works real smooth with a pair of Falcon Floats [ if you can find them ] for water. Homer Simpson fly's mine. Seeya later. MM

Kmot. The reason I suggest a Saito .100 is that after evaluating the Starlet's configuration and comparison to similar demensions with the Victa, that engine will give just a little more "ump" versus the Saito.82 I'm using right now on Starlet. A scale flyer is much more relaxing to fly than having to be hyped-up on a "wring-it-out" 3Der. It's all a matter of what please's you. $317........ a tad steep.....but.... Adios for now, MM

correct me if im wrong but wasnt the airtourer australian made (the real thing) and is the same plane as a CT4.
if so i can say that it is an amazingly nice plane to fly (the real thing) and pulls 4G loops very nicely as well as incipent spins as long as u have a strong stomach
anyways cheers tacca

''GaDay Mate" Of course it's "Aussie" made, and no doubt an excellent ARF. Looks a lot like my RV-6A from EAM. The Starlet is one of my favorites though, enjoy them both, they really are a lot of fun . MM

RE: Have you guys seen the new Victa Airtourer?
Well,I`ve completed the Airtourer.Sorry I haven`t detailed the build, but kit went together really well.I lowered the main Cabin floor to allow one of my "beauties" to fit correctly, this ones called Cindy!
Upfront is a Saito 100 and I also replaced the nose gear with a Custom Sierra nose leg.
I`ll let you know how she flys once test flight has been completed.

Steve,
Great looking airplane, and the nose strut was well worth the extra coin. Where did you get the pilot? I like her!!! Looks lifelike (unlike most ToysRUs pilots). Availability? Source?

RE: Have you guys seen the new Victa Airtourer?
Well, she took to the skies last Saturday
Maiden flight was uneventful,a couple of clicks of elevator was all that was needed. With the Saito 100 upfront she`s not exactly fast but flies very scale.Loops are great and rolls are very axle and she`s very stable at all speeds.Stalls are a none event, controls become mushy but no drop of a wing making landings nice and slow.
All in all a great scale plane with gentle flying characteristics but also capable of aerobatics.
Recommended!!

RE: Have you guys seen the new Victa Airtourer?
I also just received one of those planes.
At a glance, looks like a very well built ARF but unfortunately, there had been some damage to parts during shipment.
The canopy was broken and the cowl was a bit deformed.
I'll be calling the shop this morning to see what they want to do.
I also have a Corby Starlet and if this plane is anything similar in quality and flight characteristics, it will be a good one.
I'm pondering whether to use an OS 120E or a Saito 100. Any comments?

RE: Have you guys seen the new Victa Airtourer?
Hey guys how ya going?
This model looks real nice. Very tempted to buy one.
Please post more pictures of this model! Information and pictures are very hard to come by about this model for some reason.
Will a rcv 91cd have enough power for this model or would a OS91 be a better choice?
