I have an old, very old ultimate biplane ARF by Hobbico, its like nothing I've seen before. Have any of the old timers on here had any experiance with this plane. It has foam sheeting over balsa ribs, and balsa buildup wings fus and tail feathers. and the wing joiners are pretty different too. the one thing that is missing are the instructions. This thing has parts I've never seen. Its a good looking plane and I think I'll like it if I can get it togather,

I will probably figure it out but it sure would be helpfull if someone who has assembled this plane before could help me. I've been completely unsuccessfull at finding the instruction manual for this plane hoping maybe someone has an old one in their attic or basement.

Did you find some instructions? Get it assembled? I just bought one, mostly assembled, from a guy in my club. I could make a copy of the instruction sheets and send it to you. Mine is missing all the cabine strut parts. It will be an electric conversion when completed.

I believe that I might have the manual. I have a NIB kit in my plane closet. I actually have 2 kits, one completed, 1 NIB, so I should have 2 manuals. I will scan 1 and email you a copy hopefully tomorrow, and if I find both, I will mail you the original document.
I will let you know tomorrow.
PS, my NIB is missing the wheel pants, any chance yours has 2.

If you write to:

You may be able to get a photocopy of the instuctions. Don't know if they're still available to copy. There may be a charge to copy and mail.

I know this is an old thread but i just picked up one of these and was wondering what size engine you were successful with? I have a super tigre 51 i was going to put on it. And how does it fly?? Was the balance point in the manuel the correct place?
