I lost my Advance 40(tree years flying it) in an espectacular crash in the air v.s. a patriot, and I lost every thing, I´m planing to remplace it ( I have a wm extra 120, wm corsair, gp patriot, gp piper, wm dagored, dp ultimate 40) it was my faverite , I thinking to get the wm super sport , is it a very similar fun plane or not

elkiwi: I just bot an new-in-the-box Advance 40 (which is discontinued) from a hobby shop I traced down in California. I plan to start assembly on it in late February, probably powering it with a OS .46 FX. Do you have any suggestions regarding its construction or modifications you might recommend? Although I've assembled a number of ARFs, each one seems to benefit by some input from other owners. I'd really appreciate your guidance. bill beardsley

I made a tail dragger out of mine. Looks alot better. handling was the same.

glue the tail and use better servo arms and also dual aileron servos. i wolud also reccomend on doubling the area and possibly counterbalancing the tail surfaces. mine met its demise when the tail blew off on an inverted pass
it was spectacular a huge cartwheel in front of like 50 people
