Looking for a good 60 size low wing, tail dragger trainer, anyone have any good suggestions.

I have nice little OS engine just waiting for a new plane and need a low wing, tail dragger to learn on for a Giant Scale Chipmunk I am about to start building.

Sig Four Star 60 ARF You could go on for days on this one. The Tiger is a great choice as well. It's gonna be up to you to choose which you like the looks of best. Another choice, if you dont mind the kit building thing, is the GP Super Sportster 60, an awesome plane with classic lines and styling. Good luck whichever way you decide to go. Happy Flying!

The Tiger or Super Sportster would be a better choice for low wing trainer than the 4* if your next plane is going to be a Chipmunk. The 4* floats too much and lands at slower than trainer speeds. IF you try the Chipmunk like the 4*, it will stall and dump into the ground before you make it to the runway. [8D]

I think it would help to know your experience. If you're already an experienced flier, the Chippy could easily be your first tail dragger.

If not, I suggest the Tiger
