the only glow engine I would put in is a moki 2.1
the saito 1.80 i do not think would do this plane justice. I doubt you would even be able to do consecutive loops.

read the big thread it will give you alot of pointers.

also where do you fly I have a patty as well.

I will be installing a Moki 2.10, and from what I've read, this is about the only glow engine that is suitable for this plane.

If you are doing 3D flying, then get the BIG Moki. If you are going to fly IMAC Basic or Sportsman, then the Moki 1.8 will work. You should be able to get the following:

Mejzlik 19*08 7700 rpm
Mejzlik 20*10 7200 rpm

I get this with my Brison so you should be good to go!
Just don't use a wide blade propeller

Default GP 300

I am using a Taurus 2.6 in mine. This engine is a Cadillac as engines go.

I am using a Taurus 3.2 in mine. I was told by Bill that it's only 3 onces more, but adds 3 more pounds of thrust. A good friend on mine is using the 2.6 Taurus in his. It will interesting to if there is much difference between the to motors ( both Taurus ) installed on the same plane.

I think a lot will depend on where and how it balances.
I have mine just about complete and will be working on getting the balance set for the initial flight and see how much farther AFT I will have to move the CG.

If you are not into 3d and prop hanging the moki 1.8 would fly the plane with OK but not unlimited vertical. IMO. You will need to put a single pull pull rudder system near the CG and not use heavy servos for the elevator. Put a big 6 volt battery pack on the nose and you should at least get close to the cg mark. You may need some lead though. I would expect this arrangement to weigh about 14.25 to 14.5 lbs from what I have seen. A small gasser is great for this plane though 40-50 cc. even a non 3d flyer can get a thrill watching this plane almost lift itself off the ground on takeoff with a gasser

I haven't flown my yet but was wondering that engine do you have in yours? I will also have to agree, with 4 servos in the tail, you need some weight up front to get it balanced right.
