Default Engine installation....YS110 in a UCD60

In the past I have clamped the engine to the engine mounts and made sure everything looks reasonably straight and drilled and bolted the engine to the engine mounts.

To date it seems to have worked well but surely there must be a way of making sure the alignment of the engine to the engine mounts and fuselage are absolutely spot on.

Can someone please point me to an article on the web regarding this or give me there ideas on how they do it.

Thanks

I use thick CA to to hold the engine to the mount then align it to the fuse

Ok, a YS 110 in a U Can Do 60 is WAY above the level of the beginner's forum. I'm going to move this thread over to the ARF/RTF forum.

Apologise Ken....I didn't want to post into an "advanced forum" and promote my amateur / beginner level building skills...(as well as my spelling!)

Well moderated.....

skiman...so you glue the engine to the mounts ??? then align the engine while glue is setting ??? then drill and bolt down engine to engine mounts?
