Has anyone installed hingepoints into the Fliton Extra 330? I'm going to guess that, stock, there isn't enough wood for them to bite, so some had to be added. I really don't want to have to rip up the covering to add the wood, but would if it were necessary.

If not hingepoints, what else is being used? Maybe some DuBro hinges (standard?)? I refuse to use CA hinges, so I won't be using the ones supplied with the plane.
