Has anyone converted a Tower Kaos into a tail dragger? I like the way the plane flys but I always leave it at home when I go to the field because the nose gear steering frustrates me. I know I would bring her out more if she was a tail dragger. Any advice or tips on how to convert it would be much appreciated.

just use a sullivan tail wheel and cut out a portion of the bottom of the tail in the area of the tail wheel ,put in some hardwood for the screws to grab and glue the tail block back in. Get some alum leg gear, such as the sig and install a thin ply plate in the bottom of the fuselage just in front of the wing. put in blind nuts to hold gear on so that the wheels are centered at the front edge of the wing. (or there abouts). I have had a 40 and have a 60, both taildraggers (not arf's)
