Default Dymond Blitz 82" Electric Flying Wing

Just received it today. Covering is pretty darn good. Not a wrinkle, probably will still iron it a little. Construction looks very simple and clean. For $79.00 it meets the IMAA 80" requirements and it's just about all done right out of the box!

Hardware package comes with a slick hidden hatch latch, excellent recessed servo compartments with integrated covers. Really very sharp. Although you can fly it as a glider I will run a geared 05 motor with a folding pusher prop.

Plenty of compartment room and it looks different. Dark blue and yellow covering and strings already in the servo trays for easy extension installation.

I'll let you know how it turns out. I might write about it in our club newsletter. I hope to test out my piggyback glider launcher this weekend. A Hobbico Superstar and a two meter glider. Should that work out OK I am going to try the piggyback with the wing.

Default Dymond Blitz w/ 05 and pusher folding prop?

Hi,

I also bought a Dymond Blitz model, but I can't find a 'Dymond 05 geared motor' on their own web site, and where the heck do you find a folding PUSHER prop? Alternately, I have a Phaser 15/3 motor handy that I could use, but still need the prop.

Any help out there?

Jeff

You can get the prop from Dymond. It was a Graupner. Also try Hobby Lobby. Also try Master Airscrew.

Did you fly the Blitz yet?

I love flying wings and I am thinking of getting one.
