Default Balance

I just sold a used kit built one to a friend. It balanced right on the spar with a OS-46, battery behind the front wing former. Hope that helps. Don`t know why I sold it , must want a New one.

Default CG

Acordong to SIG the CG is 3 1/2" back from the leading edge along the sides of the fuselage. They claim this is the mild CG and as you become more comfortable with the airplane you can move it back for more aggressive flying, but never by more than 1/4" at a time.
Hope this helps.

I have the CG set at 4 3/4" from the leading edge. 3 1/2" is a god place to start, but when you get comfortable with the plane, move it back and it will come to life like you wouldn't believe!!
