Right now I have 3 full sized planes, a bunch of smaller electrics and two helicopters.. I am a god pilot but have little or no time to build. so...
I am looking for a nice Biplane. SOmething in a .40 size or a .60 if need be. It must be easy to build and reasonably priced...
So go my minions. Find me this most holy grail of aircraft...
Err.. Did I say that out loud. Crud!..

Goldberg Ultimate ARF, but you can't have mine as I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Do it right and put a nice Fourstroker in the front and it will be love...
I run mine with a Saito 120, it is so sweet I can't describe it.

A bipe huh? You've failed to mention what kind of bipe you'd like. Sport? Aerobatic? Scale?
You could follow the masses and get an Ultimate like everyone and their dog has, or you could get something a little more classy, unique and attractive.

Damnathius I am looking for a sport plane. I liek to have fun and play around. No copmpetition etc..
Can't fly that looks great. A bit pricey but exactly what I was looking for besides that.
Doesnt' Sig or Great Planes have a really great Bipe kit? Do they also have an ARF?

My brother has been flying a Kyosho Super Stearman with a Saito .52 for a few months, and he loves it. They also have a regular PT-17, as well as a nice little Pitts S-2 in .40 size.

Well I have three choices on power really..
I have an OS LA 46 at home. This would really be a bit weak in my opinion. In fact I have yet to find a plane that this engine works well on.
I also have an MDS .48. This is a bit more powerful but I am hesitant to trust MDS engines.
Finally I am thinking of buying an Evolution Engine from H9. I have heard good things on this and it really is inexpensive.

RCM had a test article on the Kyosho pitts a while back, they liked it with the OS 46FX, (best engine for the buck these days) and a Slimline Pitts muffler.
Also every 40 sized bipe I have heard of is supposed to fly better with mini servos in the wings, with HS81s or 81MGs you can lay them sideways in the wing and just stick the servo horn out instead of hogging the whole regular sized servo into the wing and letting it stick halfway out the bottom.
The master builder over at Venture Hobbies (my LHS) just built a gorgeous one and can probably give you a hint or two. Ask for Larry, (847-537-8669). He has some nice pics too.

I have a Gee Bee Dreamer Biplane. The kit is available from Tower, part #GEEA1100, for $79.99 In the picture below the plane had an O.S. 50 SX which was too much power. A mid size 4 stroke around 52 cc would be perfect. Right now the little biplane is hanging without an engine. Maybe it will fly again this summer.
