I have a gp gene saucy extra that had a moki 1.8 up front .....it had good power but due to unforeseen accidents it ran wide open running backwards .......which threw off everything on the front of the plane .........which in turn unloaded the motor and killed the bearings.....so i got a good deal on a brand new moki 2.10 ........is this gonna be a bad combo ....I have new bearings ordered but i wanted a bit more power since I fly at 3500' and the 1.8 didn't quite have the power to pull it out of a hover ....or really make it hover for that matter .....what do you guys recommend ....am I messing up a good thing or what ........thanks for your help ....

Unless the 2.1 is much heavier it should be fine, the Soucy is a 77 inch aircraft, may have to move some stuff back if possible.
A 2.1 is quite a motor,I would switch to gasoline at this point. But if you buy gas then you may as well skip all the small ones and get a 50+cc,but then you need to buy a bigger airframe and probably better servos and batteries
Put it on your Christmas wishlist

the 2.10 is 5 oz heavier than the 1.8 adn the carbon fiber gear I had to add added another oz. so I added a total of 6 or so oz to the front .......I hope I can move the batt back so I can get it to balance .......but I was wondering if anyone who had this plane has flown it with this set up ....i am kinda scared......it should have its second maiden ater this week
