Has anyone had any experiences with Cermark ARF's. Is the quality any good? Personally, Im kinda sceptical, because they have numerous spelling errors on there website.

Thanks much....keep em flying!!!

A club member had their Pitts, and he said it was more work than it was worth. The cowling was messed up, and they wouldnt send a new one, the covering on the wings was messed up too. He got the bottom wing fixed, but he had to completely redo the top wing. He also said that the struts were very weak, and he had to build new ones. Plus one strut was too short.

I just bought there F-16 the quality looks Great! ARF's are time consuming as well as kits but do save you a lot of time. You want to have trouble building an (arf) try a lanier!

I purchased a Cermark Bobcat a while back because I was intrigued that it included an engine and servos for $189. Construction and Ultracote covering were good, however the ABS cowl was inadaquate and poorly designed and both the wheels and clevis's were hard and cheap. Some shipping damage also occured due to poor packing within the box. The supplied Asagi servos are adaquate and the Thunder Tiger .42 makes decent power for a bushing motor. My main complaint about the Bobcat is that it was terribly tail heavy. When I contacted Cermark, an Asian tech support guy said he had never heard this compliant from anyone. Yeah right! I switched the engine to a heavier TT .46 Pro and still had to put 7 ounces of weight in the nose! After all was said and done, the plane was a pretty good value, is good looking and flies well, just don't expect to get it in the air as quickly as some other ARF's. Replace the hard wheels and brittle clevis's or you'll rip out the landing gear blocks and a pull the pushrod's out of the clevis's like I did! Lucky for me it was just an aileron pushrod.

Oh, one more thing, the Bobcat needs more up elevator than the factory specified throw to flare properly on landing.....and no, it isn't nose heavy! :-)

Well,
Some of the products are good enough....but to me the defining reason to patronize a company is the service after the sale.

Cermark has the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Some are ok. I think they are made by Super Kraft.
