This is from Daves site.....hope this helps. The 180 is to heavy and to much motor.....I have a Saito 180 in mine and it is overpowered.
"The MOKI 1.35 is as much power as you dare put in the DPM 60 inch Ultimate. It has enough power to fly both the DPM EDGE 540T and the DPM EXTRA 330L VERY well."
Weight: 30.5 oz HP: 3.45 @ 9,800 RPM Prop: 15 X 8 to 16 X 8 for break in
17 X 8 to 18 X 8 for aerobatics: Recomended Muffler: Bisson Pitts
style, with installed pressure tap
(Only 4.2oz)

I'll let you know, just installed the combo lastnight on the new DP Ulti. it took some interesting plumbing for the throttle linkage and of course the cowl needed to be cut.... I can post a picture of it later if you're interested

I went to the 135 and bisson for power. I was going to soft mount it but went with the stock glass filled motor mount to save some weight, it seems to be a good striong little mount. for servos I went to the hitec 545's for ailerons, elevator and throttle. for the rudder I'm went to a 5645 digital....140ish oz. in. I just hope the 545 on the elevator is enough? I may change that. opinions are welcomed. worried about the main landing gear's strength...have been thinking of using a flying wire type setup with two bicycle spokes... should make it strong with minimal expense and added weight. I'll post photo's soon.

Thanks for the info. Can't wait to see the pics. Hope the elevator servo is strong enough, should be I think. You definetily will not have problems doing knife edge with that hitec 140 oz torque. I too am a little concerned of the landing gear, haven't quite decided on a good light alternative yet.
Thanks

I just started to build my Ultimate also. For the gear I agree with you guys. Here's what i found. This company makes really good stuff.
http://www.graphtechrc.com/Secure/mall/maingear.asp#dp
As fare as servos go I talked to 2 guys from Hitec that fly at my feild They both dont recommend any digital servos because the technology isn't that good yet. That is from a tech and a sales rep for the company. They said to put 945 on the rudder 925 on the elevator and 545 on the ailerons. the 900 series of servos are their best servos.
I'm installing a ys 120sc, Those servos above, Graphtech gear, Mejzlik 16x8 prop. Man after this plane is done it sure is alot of money :-)
