Sorry, I took for granted as truth Great Planes' claim that they used Monokote on the whole plane. Shame on you Great Planes. This will work and you'll have better covering too for the bottom of the wings.

Stelios, WOW is a pretty good description of the Super Skybolt with a YS-110. When I land mine I look around to see if I'm gonna get in trouble for having to much fun, and it's not all speed & vertical, I fly the IMAC basic routine and always finish with a few touch & goes cause I love the way the plane just slows down and lands so smooth. Makes me think I can fly.

Hello fliers
Just read a few threads on Skybolt and as mine is in transit with UPS, I feel sorta out of the loop as I was planning to put a (almost ashamed to say this) Super Tigre 75 on mine. Please don't hate me for this! I just have this engine on the shelf that I thought was on the high end of the Skybolts limit. Is anyone flying the 'bolt with this? I must say that I am a sport flier who just likes to fly round the field with a few loops and rolls and stall turns and not really into that other neat stuff you guys do as my fingers and eyes won't keep in sync as well as they used to. My hats off to you guys.

I'm buying a GP Skybolt built from a kit from a fellow club member. It currently has aSuper Tigre 90 2stroke on it that weighs 27oz with muff. I have OS91Surpass11 and a Saito100. Less weight to add with OS; power= Saito. Which would you suggest???? THANKS,RACJ
