Any one heard of these?? My LHS is selling them and the price doesn't seem too bad. Its $189.00 Can. for a 40 size Beaver with a 71" wingspan. Its rated for a 40 size engine and supposed to weigh just 5 lbs. flying weight. [8D]

Hey there, i bought one last summer from the LHS in Regina, it was the red and grey one and the owner had installed the floats on it and then hung it from the ceiling. I got it for 200 cash as it was the first one he sold. I put a .46 AX in it and man does it fly great. I currently have a .46la on the nose of my SSE and i think that i will switch it out with the AX for a little more scale type flying on the beaver. The only thing that i didn't like about the beaver was the fact that it was built so light i had to add some support in places so i could mount my water rudder stuff. As for flying it is beautiful and looks great. It always draws a crowd when i fly it. I am assuming that you are talking about PM Hobbycraft, i was in there about 3 weeks ago and seen several hanging from the roof. I really like the white one. Buy it!!!!

I have one too. They do fly great but only when it isn't windy. the landings are awesome and are so scale like!! i am modifying mine to have bigger wheels and fairings on the landing gear. powered by a .46 TTPro... more than enough power!!

From what the LHS owner told me it was a manufacturer looking to get into ARF's and had a demo run of these planes made in China. The guy didn't have much luck with it and was blowing out the kits to hobbyshops. the one in regina bought 5 and when i talked to PM hobbycraft yesterday they said they had about 6 left. I was told they were selling for 119 without the floats though. They guy also had some ARF's that were the same as the KMP 96" beaver as the owner of the LHS in regina bought one assembled it and hung it from the ceiling. He said that when he got to the bottom of the box there was a KMP manual in it so i am assuming it was a KMP knockoff. Once these ones are sold i believe you are out of luck. IF you want one in the USA look up www.pmhobbycraft.ca and see if they will ship to the us. I know the guy in regina is asking 199 CAD for the beaver without the floats. Redline hobby is the store .
