I've got mine all finished and ready to go, but the weather just won't give up. Balanced perfect with an RCS 140. Very nice construction and covering. The only building problem I had was trimming the windshield for the best fit. Finished weight 13 pounds 7 ounces.
Has anybody flown one yet?

Mine is ready for the first engine run, but no photos yet. Maybe tomorrow. I used a Zenoah G-26 with an APC 18-6 wide blade and the total dry weight came out at 14.25 lbs.
One "necessary" thing I did was add a 1/8" black stripe betweem the red and white. It really sets the scallops off nicely.
Very nice plane, even though the wing area is nearly 100 square inches less than advertised. They forgot to subtract the curved area at the tips that isn't there. Still, wing loading as around 24, great for this size plane.
Look for full review in an upcoming issue of R/C REPORT Magazine.

Would like to hear about the first flights. Do you think a converted "weedie" would work on this plane? I've got a Ryobi sitting on the bench almost ready to be tried out. Thanks for the pictures.

The Ryobi would be fine power-wise, but not-too-good, size-wise. It's almost 7" long and the firewall to cowl distance is right at 6".
YOu'll have to stay tuned to R/C REPORT for the rest of the info, including flight data.
