Default ARF engine installation question

I have a Hanger 9 Solo Star with a .46 engine. The motor tilts forward quite a bit because the firewall is tipped inward a bit at the bottom. Should the axis of the motor be coplaner to the aircraft body. Should i shim the front of the motor the reduce the tip forward?

The downward engine angle is there on purpose. It helps reduce the elevator trim change needed as you increase the throttle setting.

You may also notice the engine is ponted a little to the right, instead of in a straight line with the rudder. This is also on purpose, to counter the "torque turning" effect of the engine rotating the propeller one way acting to try to rotate the aircraft in the opposite direction.

If its not too late... its a good idea to paint the firewall and any other wood near the engine with a thin coating of 2 hour epoxy, just prior to mounting the engine and nosewheel steering bearings. This will help reduce fuel soaking the wood, which can cause the wood to soften and fall apart. (and fuel soaked wood is very hard to glue back together....)
