Hi,
Anyone have a line on a replacement composite landing gear for this plane. Supplied gear seems to spongy.
Thanks, Bill

Bill, Check these out! Right now you can get some great carbon fiber landing gear for the DP for $15 !!!! better hurry, they are trying to reduce the inventory of some of their gear, and the DP ultimate is one of them!

You can try tnt for some custom beefy aluminum gear...have their stuff on my Extra 300 and when that plane eventually crashes into the ground that landing gear won't have a scratch or dent I would bet.

I was concerned when I was putting my Ultimate together too, but I've been amazed at how well they are holding up. I fly off a VERY rough grass field, and they are not bending at all. They may have spread just slightly, but even with my 18 inch prop, I still have plenty of clearance, so they can't have spread much. They seems springy, and they are, in fact I've noticed the wheel pants still dancing as I make my first turn after take-off, but they're VERY strong!
