Great Planes Curtis P6-E Hawk balancing

The cg is at 5 7/8" in. from leading edge. But where is this measured at? There is a short staight run on th LE at the fuse and then the LE tapers off. Is the measurement taken here or some where eles along the wing. The manual isn't that great for this.

Most are measured back along the fuse from the leading edge. If you go out from the fuse ( both sides ) about an inch and measure back from the leading edge you should have it. You might want to put some kind of mark at that point, a small piece of tape works great. Hope this helps. ENJOY !!! RED
