Default my venus 40 need help

venus 40 arf flying good but feels slugish my c g is at starting point 118 mm back should i move c g back a bit ? this plane also was snaping when i give to much elv so i move all throws to starting piont agian and it worked but now plane feels slugish can anyone help me out

It sounds like you reduced your throws to reduce snapping. Even after 20 years of flying, I ran into a similar situation lately. I never got around to lateral balancing my latest aircraft. Even with a foreward CG, it still snapped on full low-rate elevator. After Lateral Balancing, I was able to move my CG back another 3/4" with good results and no snapping tendencies.

i have the plane lateral balance i am trying to move c g back it is flying good but just slugish now is that becuase of the forword c g
