Default Noise traps on H9 T'Craft

Anyone found a need to use noise traps between the aileron servos and the Y connectors?
I'm debating wether to use them or not (Hitec Prism PCM) doubt if there should be a problem, has any body had problems by not using them?

Probably personal preference on that. I have used LONG extensions, like 4' in turbine and gas powered planes hooked to ditials and not with no amps or noise traps with no problems at all.

Good luck!

Default PCM

While I was putting together my Taylorcraft I ran into some radio noise problems. I had aluminum arms on the aileron servos with digital servos having metal gears. I had a piece of piano wire in my hand and when i tapped the aluminum arm I got some jittering out of the servo. I was kind of shocked. I've flown for the last two years with digital servos, aluminum arms, etc and never had any problems. Then it hit me. I had PCM recivers in the other planes. I was using an FM receiver in the Taylorcraft. I put a PCM reciver in the Taylorcraft and all jitters went away.

USE A PCM RECIEVER.

Well, the jitters didnt go away, you just cant see them as easily. PCM is not the magical cure. Interference will hit both types, fm/ppm will just make them show better. Good routing and installation is the correct way to cure interference.
Good luck!
