I bought one of their planes several years ago. Did'nt go over very well. This AT-6 at 80 inch wing and Fiberglass fuselage at $250 is not bad. Anybody have this and what engine ya running. I'm curious as to how the wings are built. Foam sheeted?

Hi,
Cmpro Texan. My friend used to have it.Sold it after a few flyings.Used 1.80 Moki gasser on its nose. This plane has built up wings, not foam sheeted.Very weak at the main gears. You have to reinforce it.
The Cg in the manual wrong.Otherwise pretty scale in the air.

Georgee,
I recently bought the Nitroplanes AT-6 Texan (CMP) and read your notes about it. I can't seem to find the correct CG for it. what did you use? I have a O.S. BGX-1 3500 engine in it, a heavy engine, and it still seems to need tons of weight in the nose to balance it out. The directions say 117mm - 125mm from the leading edge. But from where? Where the wing meets the body, from where the leading edge begins to slant back? I don't know!!!!
Thanks for any info!
Keith
