Depends on how long you want your smoke to last and the size tank you can fit.

Biggest you can fit, and then rule of thumb is go a hair bigger....smoke goes pretty fast, and you'll always wish you had more.

Well I have a 24oz in a Wagstaff with a ZDZ50. The Slimline pump I'm using claims it uses less smoke fluid.

Paul, you get what, about a good 30 seconds of smoke, total?

Got off the phone with Slimline, and they said at the most (depending on engine, muffler etc.) you would use 4oz a min. In my application 24oz is a little to big, I may change it to 16oz.

4 ounces a minute?!@#!@#$!@#

That's just sipping smoke fluid. We're lucky to get 3-4 minutes (max) on a 24-ounce tank (running a Saito 180 with a Slimline pitts-style smoke muffler).

Use the biggest tank you can fit. Biggest. Biggest and more biggest.

I got a 32oz-er in my H9 T-craft. Think I could make a 50oz. work.

I would be interested in hearing an update after you have tested the pump out. If slimline is accurate in there flowrate that would be great. Let us know how the pump works or if you have any problems.
