I also changed all the Clevises with the metal ones for all my planes. The Nylon Clevises work OK... but they are hard to adjust, and personaly don't look as good as the metal ones do.
Well, I've been working with the repair and so far so good. I sent my spare Cowel to be drilled and cut at my LHS... I was too chicken to do it my self, I don't have a Dremal on hand to use and I didn't want to take any chances doing it by hand.
The fruits of my labor is starting to pay off, but what a nightmare this Hanger 9 46 ARF Cub has become! [:@]

I don't mind if the covering has a few wrinkles, or if these ARF's needs glue here and there... but when the covering is creased and crumpled tightly, I really don't like it. Like I said to R/C Ken, I don't feel we should spend most of our time repairing planes out of the box because of factory defects etc. It's plain sad that sometimes we have to patch new planes out of the box... either because of the factory or by our own mistakes in that matter.
If Hanger 9 is one of the best for ARF's out there... it makes me kringe to how the others compare in quality?
Thanks for all your comments, I took a little of everyones advice. I'll post the completely finished result in a few weeks.
