My LHS cancelled his order for the WACO. Sig keeps pushing the delivery date back. He got tired of waiting for delivery.
Last I heard, the delivery date is set for sometime in July.

Nice plane BUT
After 30 years in this hobby Sig is off my buy list forever.
I refuse to give my money to a company that hires people who pass off their design flaws as a customer's inexperience.
This is not the same company that I had dealt with for many years in the past. What a shame !
Happy Flying,
Tim

sometime ago i read a thread where some fella was at a rc show and went to sig's booth and was talking to them about a design flaw in one of their higher end arfs. he claimed that they got absolutely rude with him and told him he must have assembled it wrong. when he tried to explain the problem they did not want to listen and just got very rude with him. hhmmm... maybe a rc trade show was not the place to do that.

Be happy. You have managed to out live most of the original owners of the various companies that you grew to love. I have a similar problem to yours, so you're not alone.
Where's:
Duke Fox
Tower's original owners
K&B's original crew
Phil Kraft/Jack Albrecht
Bob Dunn/Orbit
Ed Keck
EK Logictrol
Carl Goldberg
John Maloney/World Engines
Jim Goad/Indy R/C
Ed Thompson/Digitrio
Don Brown/DB radios and ARFs
and a host of others too long to mention.
Things certainly are different - but life goes on.
For those that don't know, it is not unusual for companies to begin advertising new products a few months before the products are available. If the response is poor to the advertising, products sometimes are not put into production.

As far as pics of an SRE goes, how 'bout the real thing? This is an SRE which was at Creve Coeur Airport this weekend. Magnificent machine. I didn't know until seeing the full scale that the wings aren't fabric. They are sheeted with wood, and were slick as glass. This one was once owned by Frank Borman(Apollo 8 astronaut, former prez of Eastern Airlines)
