Default Radio Compatability ??

Hey everyone,

this is a rather simple question. I have primarily hitec gear in my planes. I have three planes, two with nothing but hitec gear, the other has a GWS receiver and two micro hitec servos. All systems are fully compatable with futaba radio's. Does this mean that it wont be compatabile with a JR radio? Im very interested in the 7 channel synthesized radio from JR and was wondering whether it will work or not with the radio grear in my planes, will it?

thank you so much!

The way I learned it was:

Hitec and Futaba are compatible and are both negative shift.

JR and Airtronics are compatible and are both postive shift.
