Default Yellow/FK Giles 60 stab problems?

Giles G 300

Does anyone know what the correct incidence is for the horizontal stab is on this plane?

I've just had a look at the FK Giles 60 size assembled in the hobbystore and there was a dodgy gap on the underside of the stab/fuzz joint. The young lad in the store said his father had built two of these, including the one he was showing me, and said there was too much down in the stab if installed in the suggested position.

Both flew excellently with the gap underneath the stab but he said, a couple of guys at their patch reckoned this looked to be wrong. The two planes were built using an incidence meter to align the stab although he didn't know how much incidence was used. I have seen pics and threads showing the stabs glued with and without a gap and would like to know which is correct?

Is this problem going to be sorted in the near future by FK/Yellowaircraft, and what is the right way to go for people putting these planes together at present?

I will be going to see a guy today (PeteTindals Airplanes) who imports the 'FK' range into England and see what he has to say on the matter (and probably will end up taking a large box home!)

I would like to hear from anyone with info on any of these 60 sized ARFs the Giles in particular, flight performance etc, as I don't think there's that many flying over here yet!

.... this plane looks taylor made for a Saito 100!!! ......
