You mean CMP right?

CMP kits are fine for someone who has a good bit of prior experience putting together ARFs.

If all you need is the C.G. to put together an ARF, then you'll do well.

If you need more guidance, you'll find the manuals lacking.
You'll also find that you should give the CMP planes a good going over to look for any manufacturing mis-steps and potential problems.

An experienced ARF builder will tend to do this anyway and knows what to look for.

tonywayne,

I had the CMP Giles 202 140 size and it was no worse than any other ARF's out there for what you pay for it. The FG wheel pants where the best I've seen but the cowl was a little thin but had a very nice paint job on it and it held up fine. I'm not sure about their other models but for $169.00 the Giles 202 I had was money well spent.

Hello Tony:

I guy at my club has one of these. It looks really nice and it seems to fly well.

Although, he does have a new Saito 125 in his and he has described the power as "adequate".

I hope that helps.

Bye, Ian
