Default laser cg help

i have a laser that i got from a local swap and it has a 74 inch wing span and was wondering what is the balance point on this model i have searched and find nothing close to mine

steve - this is not 100% correct but most of the times the CG is actually around the spar. Try to balance her on the spar and let is be slightly nose heavy. It should be ok for the maiden flight. Any picture of your Laser? Maybe its a Pacific Aeromodel one ...

ill get a picture of it tomm night and post it,i looked at the pacific model laser but it does not match mine

You should really find the Mean Aerodynamic Chord of the wing, and balance the plane at 25% of that. I have a Seagull Laser 71 inch. Mine balances at 5 1/2 inches from the leading edge along the fuselage.

Try this site - it is easy to use. Use a %MAC of 25 to 30 and the balance point will be given to you.
