Can anyone recommend a nice Extra ARF in 40 size or so. I am looking for a less costly build that has good aerobatic/3d performance. The only thing that I can find that seems decent is the Fliton Extra 330 Freestyle. Are there others??

jvino - that seems to be the best 40 sized Extra available at the moment. Its a big 40 sized plane at 59" and decently light too. Its a superb flier.

I have been looking for the same thing. I am trying to find a new home for the .46ax in my LT40. As far as Extras go:

The World Models .30 size has similar dimensions to the .40s, so I think that it would work.

And http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/airplanes/gp/11071B.asp.
I wish Great Planes had an ARF version of their extra 300 kit.
