Yes, I searched. No, I found nothing. So I have a HobbyZone Supper Cub, which I'm quite decent at flying, if I do say so myself. Actually, I wasn't (I've only replaced the firewall seven times), but then I bought G3.5 and brought my flying skills up to snuff after a few grand in simulated airplane crashes. But my three channel doesn't do a whole lot, so I'd like to upgrade to a four. I don't want to go to a kit plane yet, as I still would like to be able to buy spare parts for it. Now, in Real Flight, my favorite airplane by far is the Yak 54. I'm not sure whether or not I want the T-28 or the Typhoon 2, and I realize that neither will be my Yak 54, but still, I would like the one that's closest.
Here's what I like about the Yak:
Harriers, hovers and waterfalls are very easy
Knife-edge flight can be sustained more easily for longer periods of time than most
Very responsive without the over-sensitive feel of the E3D, Cap 232, Fundango, etc.
I realize that the Yak 54 is much larger than most of the airplanes that I'm comparing to, but the T-28 is only five inches longer than the Phoon. In addition to that, the Phoon is a 3D plane, so it's probably got that over-sensitive feel to it, but the T-28 might not be aerobatic enough for me, and I'd probably get used to the twitchiness, which the T-28 might have anywho...
And the T-28 is like twice as cool as the Phoon. So if you could help me out that would be ORSHUM.
All the best,
Ricky

ParkZone, pardon. I forgot to mention that I wanted to stick with Hobby/ParkZone because while I feel I want to move up from my Cub, I would still like to be able to buy spare parts should pilot error result in a crater or two.

I have and love both ! If I had too pick one over the other it would be the Typhoon 2 its a better all around aircraft. Shorter takeoffs and landings. T-28 needs a lot more room. but I love them both !!!

i have the typhoon 1 and 2 but have not yet flown the t-28 the typhoon 2 is a HANDFUL it can move very very fast and unlike the stricker b, c , it will not take any abuse with the ground at all, things will break (mostly the gear drive easy fix with a 3 doller part) you would probable learn more with the t-28. No matter what you choose it going to be a huge diffrance than the cub. thats just my 2 cents but like life and RC its a cinch buy the inch or hard buy the yard. good luck small steps AX
