has anyone tried a saito .82 on this plane? I want to get some speed and mild pattern aeros out of it for fun.....basically the stupid stuff the plane was not made for!

I was hoping a saito .82 would get me there.....has anyone tried this combo?????????????

I had the Great Planes cub with a super tigre .40 2 stroke and it had plenty of power. the .82 will give you unlimited performance.

I personally think you are wasting your time and money trying to soup up a long wing cub. It has barn door ailerons which may not give you the control that you need for wild aerobatics. Find a nice aerobatic bird to do this with such as an Extra if you like scale or a Venus if scale doesn't matter. I think you will enjoy the result better.

Actually I have an edge 540 (intense), and looking for a good relaxing cruiser plane (with beer in hand), that I can wick around if I need to chase someone down
