Default Sig Extra 300xs engine?

I have a Sig Extra 300xs on the way. I wanted to know if anyone out there mounted a O.S. 1.60 fx on one of these things. I just want to know how it turned out balance wise and how it flies. I plan on installing the 1.60 with a Slimline exhaust and a Perry Vp-30 pump. I have this set up in a few planes and love it. It pulled a World Models Extra 300 at 14.5 pounds around no problem. So this Sig Extra should rock!

I have the OS 1.60 on mine and yes...it does rock. I have the APC 17-8 prop and this plane will haul the mail. Only problem is...getting this bird to slow down!!! I have to add a little weight in the nose but not much. Your gunna like this combo.

I had the same problem with my other planes with this comb. Try a 18x8 pro zinger or an 18x6. It helps alot to slow the plane down . Thanks alot for your reply.

I fly mine with a ST2000 (1.20) balanced right on the money. If you want to slow down for landings use the ailerons as spoilerons. Use a switch to kick them up about 1/2" and program in about 6% down elevator. This will allow you to come in at a steeper angle then flair for those reel nice 3 pointers.
